For over 14 years Vashon Opera has been producing high quality opera here on Vashon Island. Starting in 2009 with a production of Giacomo Puccini's La bohème at the old Vashon High School, Vashon Opera has since produced 25 full-scale productions, 3 operas for children and a concert evening featuring tenor Limmie Pulliam.
