Vashon Opera granted 501(c)(3) status

Vashon Opera was granted 501(c)(3) status on March 13, 2009 by the Internal Revenue Service. Incorporated as a non-profit in November 2008, Vashon Opera initiated the process of obtaining a 501(c)(3) distinction in early 2009. With this distinction donations to Vashon Opera are tax deductible.
